ChrisMoore Requirements - Venue
Chris performs around the tables, and the Interactive Musical History tour requires a venue with enough space around the tables for people to be able to stand and perform various actions. Chris prefers to set up close to the audience as he has to access his Laptop and Mixer during the show. No stage is required for under 150 people, however a stage and lights are preferable for over 100 people if dancing is intended at the end of the night. He also asks audience members up the front and though a stage is not necessary there does need to be enough room for a few people to stand. During one section the audience moves around the room in a circle, so it is preferable to have space around the edge of the room. The Interactive Musical History Tour is designed for the same number of people at each table, in order to issue kits of party instruments. Preferably 8 - 12 people at each table, however Chris can work with any table configuration.
The party instruments Chris issues are not giveaways and are collected at the end of each show.
Please Consider Having your Venue Professionally Themed. Chris Moore has worked with many themes, e.g. >Sixties night< >Rock Stars< >The Jungle< >Cowboys and Indians< >Woodstock< >Beach Party< >Tex Mex< >The Gamblers< >Rocky Horror< Contact Chris for more information. North Island and Australia Chris Moore flies with guitar, mixer, microphones, and party instruments. Excess baggage
is up to 20 kilos, or $100 each way ($200 each way to Australia, excess is $10 per kilo) Sound System will need to be hired which Chris will do. He will not use built in sound systems for background music, nor sound systems designed only for public speaking. Hire costs differ in different parts of the North Island and Chris will endeavor to get the best quote possible. Cost from $200 to $600 depending on venue, audience size, and what various suppliers charge. (Costs for Sound Systems are considerably more in Australia) For small shows only 2 speakers, plus sub-woofers will be used, however Chris prefers to use 4 speakers and 2 subs, and create a surround sound, which is a much better way of getting a uniform, but not loud, volume, throughout a venue. Other requirements are flights, accommodation, and transport. South Island Chris Moore prefers to drive to South Island shows, and use his own sound system, and a wider range of fun instruments than he can provide in the North Island. Cost of travel is 62 cents per k. Chris prefers to use his own Sound System, charging $200 for the use of this. This is because many Sound hire companies in the North Island also set up the system completely for Chris, however in the South Island he rigs all equipment himself. The only other requirement is accommodation. (Read Testimonials)
